has been an emotional rollercoaster. I’m exhausted.

My poor Grampies and Nana didn’t come to Christmas because my Grampies broke his shoulder and my Nana lives with him so she couldn’t either. My Uncle and Aunt only stayed a while because I don’t know why. And my Grandma and Poppy stayed until like 6:30. They used to all stay longer. When I was little, everyone in my family would be there until like 8. But now it seems like they’re all just going away and leaving me. And I know that’s not true but that’s what it feels like. Ever since my Grammies died, nothing’s been the same. I miss her so much. So, so much. I can’t believe I broke down today because of what my Grampies wrote in my card…”Rachel: I am very proud of you and of all your accomplishments in your young life. You truly have brought me a lot of joy and happiness in my life. I will always love my little pookie. Love Grampies. P.S. When you feel down and out, just look up at the stars because Grammies is always there looking over you.” He wrote about two things that get me to the core: making someone proud and my Grammies..I do everything I do just so I can make my family proud. And it really means a lot to know that I accomplish that.

After she died, my family never really talked about it…I hate that. Because we don’t talk about anything and I keep it all inside until I can’t anymore and it all comes pouring out. That’s why it hurts so much. It’s like a wound that will never heal because it was never treated properly.

‘Cause when it all boils down at the end of the day, it’s what you do and say that makes you who you are. Makes you think about it, think about it. Doesn’t it? Sometimes all it takes is one voice.

This little verse right here made me realize how excited I am to feel the feeling of arriving home on winter break after I’ve started college. Being away from home so long, I’m sure coming home to my mom and dad will feel so amazing. I want to know what it’s like to feel relieved like that because right now, I take this home for granted. I’m so excited to see their faces when I walk through the door and see them after not seeing them for so long. I can’t wait. I just can’t.

And I always find something wrong..you’ve been puttin up with my shit just way too long.

I’m so gifted at findin’ what I don’t like the most, so I think it’s time for us to have a toast. Yes, my eyelashes are different colors.

This is for those guys who didn’t like me in elementary school and thought I was weird because I had different colored eyebrows and eyelashes, because I was different. Because I am different. I don’t care what you think about me anymore.

In this past month, what have you learned?

Well, besides what I said on Day 28…I can’t say I’ve learned who my real friends are: cause I already knew. I can say that I’ve learned what’s important in life, minus the material stuff and plus all the meaningful things. I also learned that surrounding myself with good people and ignoring or removing drama is extremely preferred.
